Pittsburgh, Pa.,- Safety Rules are Your Best Tools: ARDEX Americas has announced the month of March as their official Safety Month. Aliquippa, PA, Dallas, GA, Mansfield, TX and Bourbonnais, Il sites will all participate in Safety Month events throughout March.
“The safety of our employees is of paramount concern for ARDEX Americas,” said Stephan M. Liozu, president and CEO of ARDEX Americas. “We anticipate that Safety Month will bring proper attention and awareness to very important issues affecting employees at each of our four sites across the country.”
Several events promoting safety and awareness will take place during the month of March. Employees will learn tips on office injury prevention, slip, trip and fall prevention, self-defense and crime watch. The Aliquippa plant has gone eight years with no lost time incidents; Dallas, GA has done three years, Bourbonnais, Il has gone six months, and Mansfield, TX has never had lost time incident.
“A safe workplace is a productive and pleasant workplace,” said Ron Juncal, co-chair of the ARDEX Americas safety committee. “We take safety measures very seriously and encourage our employees to do the same.”
The ARDEX Americas safety committee has been in existence since 2006. Ten employees representing different departments meet monthly to discuss safety strategy and implementation for three ARDEX Americas sites.
