As we continue to enjoy a period of significant and sustained business activity, ARDEX has an opening for an experienced and proactive Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team.  Based at our Corporate offices near Center Township, PA, this position is full time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Job Output: The primary outputs of this position are the accurate and timely execution of all customer service processes required to service Retail and Distribution.  International customer service experience a plus.  SAP experience mandatory.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain thorough understanding of all customer service processes required to service assigned multiple Distribution and Retail accounts within assigned territory
  • Execute customer service processes for assigned Distribution and Retail accounts
  • Process orders and meet order processing deadlines
  • Prepare invoices
  • Ensure customers are kept up to date with their order process, and communicate any changes / delays to the order to the customer, customer service team, logistics team, and account manager
  • Work with logistics teams to insure timely delivery of all orders
  • Proactively research and resolve shipping and price discrepancies
  • Answer 800-line for retail customer service group
  • Assist team members with overflow work as needed
  • Act as back-up for international customer service
  • Maintain an efficient filing system
  • Provide support as required to the Customer Support Supervisor
     
Skills/Attributes Required 
  • Minimum two (2) years customer service experience is essential
  • Invoicing and order processing experience is essential
  • Accurate and efficient filing, administration and data entry skills are essential
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and database systems (CRM) is essential
  • Knwledge of shipping process is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of SAP and SAP processes are highly desirable
  • Detail orientated and able to retain high levels of accuracy when multi-tasking
  • Ability to adapt to fast paced, changing environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills
  • High emphasis on customer service/customer driven 
  • Positive, professional and solution driven
  • Able to take direction and work equally well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and listening skills
  • Accountability, dependability, responsiveness, and quality are essential
     
Education 
  • High school diploma preferred
