Amarillo High School's Cafeteria Renovations
Amarillo High School, Caprock High School and Palo Duro High School had not been renovated in 30 years. The kitchen/cafeteria remodels were to reflect modern, clean lines using cutting edge tile and
installation products. A competitor’s product failed to install the large-format Laminam tiles properly and new product installation solutions were required.
ASU Gammage Memorial Auditorium
Large sections of a retaining wall deteriorated, exposing reinforcing steel. Some sections were completely missing. ASU needed to restore and beautify the retaining wall in 105-degree heat in the Arizona summer.

ASU Memorial Student Union Building

Boston University Center for Student Services

Breckenridge Middle School
Removal of an old nail-down maple sports floor revealed wooden sleepers imbedded in rough and un-level concrete
• Removal of the sleepers, followed by floor grinding and shot
blasting, left an average installation depth of more than 1 1/4” over 10,000 ft2
• The leveling compound needed to create a transition to the adjoining elevations
• A floating Robbins wood sports floor would be installed over the leveling compound
• Both the leveling and finished floor needed to be completed before school started

Burlington Central Library
BNE used Ardex PC-T and the library received a beautiful polished concrete floor. BNE was also able to avoid extensive and time-consuming patching.
Calgary Public Library
The highly anticipated Calgary Public Library, still under construction, needed to overcome various substrate issues on each level of the building. With a grand opening scheduled for late 2018, construction delays were not an option.
Campbell University Health and Science Building
When this fast-track project fell behind schedule, ARDEX Concrete Management System Late Phase Option was recommended, utilizing ARDEX MC RAPID to address excessive RH values. ARDEX V 1200 Self-Leveling Underlayment was used to correct deflections and meet specified, stringent concrete tolerances.

Harding Academy is a private co-educational day school serving kindergarten through eighth grade in Nashville, Tennessee. The board of directors decided to polish the second floor of the Harding Academy Middle School Building. Because the existing concrete was not suitable to receive a concrete stain and polish, a new self-leveling overlay had to be applied. Hemet Valley Medical Center Phase I

Herman Clark Stadium

Hopkinton Town Library
Hopkinton Town Library was designed to include UNILOCK’s Natural Gray Sandstone for both inside and outside flooring use. This highly moisture sensitive sandstone would need to be installed over severe floor undulations inside, as well as withstand constant exposure to the harsh New England weather outside.
Lynwood High School
Renovation of a 6,000 sq. ft. locker room required a sealing product that was easy to apply over finished concrete, dried quickly and could be easily maintained by the school

Mount Nittany Medical Center

Pacific Rim Charter School
Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter Public School needed to open the 2017-2018 school year with renovations to the main entrance hall completed. The existing subfloor was gypsum-based with a high gloss finish and was cracked throughout the entire 3,800 sq. ft. floor. Budgetary and time constraints required a solution that would finish the job within 2 weeks, while providing a complete system warranty.
Roosevelt High School
An 80,000 square-foot (7,432 m2) area of severely rough concrete in the perimeter classrooms was 3” (7.6 cm) below adjacent elevations. Work had to be completed on a tight construction schedule. Featured Product: POWERFLO®
Clark Pacific reached out to ARDEX Sales Professional Brian Naumovski for recommendations on a comparable tile mortar to test against LATICRETE 254 Platinum, for setting Neolith Sintered Compact Surface tiles (6mm) on the exterior of the new technical building for San Leandro’s Tech Campus. The tile mortar selected would have to withstand a range of pull tests, extreme heat temperatures, and transportation conditions from offsite installation to final construction site.
Santa Barbara High School
There was only one week to install and refinish the cafeteria for the fast-approaching first day of school. Before floor installations could begin, old vinyl asbestos tile had to be abated. Schwartz Athletic Center Indoor Swimming Pool
The Schwartz Athletic Center indoor swimming pool was being fitted for a new stainless steel gutter. When the old gutter was removed, the tile walls began to crumble and fall into the pool. ARDEX Sales Professional Matt Minney was called in by Wallover Architects to evaluate the damage and recommend ARDEX Tile & Stone Installation Systems products to bring the swimming pool back to working order. D. G. March & Associates was given one month to complete the project. In the meantime, Widener University swim team traveled to a temporary location for practice and swim meets. St. Mary's University
Keller Martin Construction and St. Mary’s University reached out to J&R Tile for recommendations on a fast track turnaround for renovations of the Chaminade Hall Dormitory. The project required the work to be completed in phases, where one floor at a time would be completed, 62 total restrooms. Phasing was important due to students occupying the floors above and below where the renovations were being done. The major scope of work was the demolition and replacement of all outdated shower/tub units. The shower valves were replaced by the plumbing contractor, and the existing base and entry to restroom had an outdated tile curb to be replaced. West Chester University Graham Natatorium Pool
After 50 years of use, West Chester University decided to renovate the Graham Natatorium Pool used by their men’s and women’s swimming teams, and several local high school and club teams. The pool required a complete overhaul including the removal of all pool deck and interior tiles. West Springfield High School
The project involves adapting and constructing a model school design on the site and then demolishing the existing building. The phased program accommodated uninterrupted continuity of school operations throughout construction. The new design takes into consideration the Massachusetts High Performance Green Schools

Wheaton College New Science Building
