ARDEX 8+9™ Waterproofing Membrane Introduces New Packaging for Tile Installation Contractors and Distributors.
ARDEX Americas is introducing updated packaging for ARDEX 8+9™ Rapid Waterproofing and Crack Isolation Compound, featuring a new integrated side-handle design that improves handling and creates a cleaner, more streamlined package — while maintaining the same trusted product performance installers and distributors rely on.
The updated packaging replaces the previous top-mounted plastic handle with built-in side carry handles, making the box easier to transport and handle on jobsites and in warehouses. The redesign also simplifies packaging components while maintaining durability and functionality.

The solvent-free, cement-based waterproofing and crack isolation compound is ideal for commercial and residential bathrooms, showers, kitchens, pools, floors, and walls. ARDEX 8+9™ is easy to apply with a roller or brush and helps reduce the risk of efflorescence while creating an excellent bonding layer for ARDEX tile and stone mortars.
ARDEX 8+9™ meets or exceeds ANSI A118.10 and ANSI A118.12 standards and is IAPMO certified for use as a shower pan.
The updated packaging will begin appearing in distribution and on jobsites as inventory transitions nationwide.
