Loba se une con el Ardex Group internacional – Wakol se hace accionista mayoritario
Ditzingen, Alemania — El fabricante internacional de adhesivos Wakol está aumentando su participación en Loba, un fabricante global de tratamientos de superficies, y ahora es el accionista mayoritario de la empresa. Ardex ha sido el accionista mayoritario de Wakol desde 2015, así que esta transacción convierte Loba en parte del ARDEX Group internacional.
Para facilitar esta transacción, cuatro accionistas de larga duración de Loba vendieron sus participaciones. La meta predominante de esta decisión es de proteger el éxito de la empresa por el largo plazo. Por esto, la nueva estructura de accionistas consiste en Wakol y Michael Fischer, quien seguirá como socio director.

Las oficinas centrales de Loba en Ditzingen se expandirán como un centro de desarrollo y producción para superficies acabadas dentro del ARDEX Group. Actualmente, el tratamiento y acabado de madera y corcha son una actividad clave para Loba. En adición, la empresa expandirá sus actividades en el acabado de pisos flexibles tanto como superficies cementosas.
No habrá cambios al nombre, la marca o la estructura de ventas de la empresa, ni a los contactos para clientes y proveedores. En ambas empresas, la organización y la personal se mantendrán. Después de la revisión obligatoria por las autoridades antimonopolio, se espera terminar la transacción hasta el final de noviembre de 2018.

ARDEX hosts NICFI Annual Conference
We are pleased to announce that ARDEX Americas hosted The National Institute of Certified Flooring Inspectors Annual Conference at our North American Head Quarters in Aliquippa, PA on October 15th – 17th.
The Conference was well attended with inspectors traveling in from all over North America. The conference agenda was packed with industry topics presented by multiple manufacturers and inspectors. Seth Pevarnik, Director of Technical Service for ARDEX Americas presented multiple times throughout the three day event covering the topics “pH and Today’s Adhesives”, “Components of Concrete and Proper Placement” and “Concrete Slab Imperfections”.

This was the exact thing Daniel Helm; owner of Helm Construction, kept telling himself while taking on two bathroom remodels in Vestal, NY.
