 ARDEX Americas Continues Its Dedication to the Local Community Through Volunteer Work with Habitat for Humanity

Aliquippa, PA – ARDEX Americas, the leading developer and manufacturer of specialty building products for substrate preparation, flooring installations and concrete repair & restoration spent the day at Habitat for Humanity’s Beaver County ReStore assisting with their Outdoor Tool Sale on Friday July 15, 2011.
 
ARDEX Americas is a corporate sponsor of Habitat for Humanity Beaver County and President and CEO, Stephan M. Liozu sits on the Board of Directors. ARDEX also provides in-kind materials and organizes teams of employee volunteers to work on Habitat for Humanity homes in Beaver County several times a year. 
 
ReStore is the Habitat for Humanity Beaver County retail outlet that sells new and used building materials, tools, furniture, etc. that has been donated. These stores also help to reduce landfills by repurposing these used items.  All items donated are tax deductible and the proceeds from sales help to place families in need into a home they can call their own. 
 
ARDEX provided lunch for the workers and other volunteers while completing general duties such as cleaning, organizing and restocking.  ARDEX provides paid leave of absence for all employee volunteers when events are held during normal business hours.
