Aliquippa, PA- It’s the most wonderful time of the year…maybe for some, but definitely not for all. ARDEX Americas has announced several volunteer opportunities for their Aliquippa based employees throughout December. As a new initiative, ARDEX Americas is coordinating company sponsored volunteer events including Habitat for Humanity Painting Blitz, Wreaths Across America, and serving at a holiday party at Villa St. Joseph Nursing Home. Employees can also choose a cause close to their heart, and volunteer with any organization of their choosing.
“The holidays are a time of sharing, giving and reflecting on the important things in life. We can have a tremendous impact on our communities during this holiday season when so many are still experiencing difficult times.” said Rhonda West, Director of Human Resources. “ARDEX Americas would like to provide an opportunity for each employee to give to the community and share their time. The combination of our efforts will equal 1024 hours if every employee gives participates.”
Employees are also able to donate wages from unused vacation hours to a struggling local veteran and his family. This family will also be the recipients of ARDEX Americas holiday giving drive. Donations of food, clothing, household goods, and gift cards are being collected.
Bourbonnais, Illinois, Dallas, Georgia and Mansfield, Texas employees are also participating in Days of Giving in their local communities.
