WEBINAR: Capillary Passive Drainage for Exterior Tiling Installations

Join us on August 22 at 1:00 pm Central Daylight (2:00 pm ET) time for a one-hour educational webinar.

Exterior tile and stone installations are becoming more popular and requiring the use of specialized installation materials to handle the tough demands of tiling outside. With these tougher conditions to overcome such as freeze thaw cycles, water management and proper installation techniques, failures can still occur and result in costly repairs.

This one-hour webinar will examine common failures on balconies and decks, how the use of capillary passive drainage mats can avoid effloresce and failures, and how thresholds should be addressed so that exterior tile and stone installations can be installed properly.

This is the third such expansion for the company this year. In February ARDEX released news of an extension for the Dallas, Georgia plant and is also currently working to expand the manufacturing footprint in Stockton, California. ARDEX Americas President, Jesse David explained, “We continue to experience strong growth throughout the Americas and across all business segments. This expansion is a direct result of our growth and allows ARDEX to continue to provide innovative products to our existing customer base as well as meet the future needs of an expanding market. We are committed to investing capital into our plants and infrastructure to provide the very highest levels of service and support that our customers demand.”

The expansion includes the addition of a new production operation and additional capacity to support future growth. ARDEX Director of Operations Jim Masterson added, “We wanted to enhance the capabilities of our operation group and increase efficiencies in the long term. This will help both production and storage and position us well for the future.” The Aliquippa expansion project will continue in phases for the rest of 2017 and into 2018 but will have no effect on how customers are serviced.

Cutting Edge Tile Inc, Owner Carl “TheFlash” Leonard recently used ARDEX Tile & Stone Installation Systems for a 95 sq. ft. bathroom remodel in Sewell, NJ. ARDEX UI 740™ FLEXBONE® Uncoupling Membrane was installed over 3/4″ plywood subfloor with ARDEX AF 207™ Pre-Mixed, Rapid Set Uncoupling Membrane Bonding Adhesive. 12″ x 24″ porcelain tiles were installed on the shower wall using ARDEX X 5™ Flexible Tile and Stone Mortar.

“I like FLEXBONE uncoupling underlayment because of it’s unique ability to accept Latex modified thinsets on top and bottom. I’ve also noticed that I use significantly less thinset during pre fill . Ardex is definitely at the forefront of the Industry with these products. I spec out Ardex products with every project i take on!  I give a 20 year Guarantee with my installs.  Ardex allows me to offer this great Guarantee to my clients and I sleep well at night knowing that I use the Best Products available.”, TheFlash on why he LOVES using ARDEX!
